Affirmation for November 18, 2010: Health
A good laugh and a long sleep are the best cures in the doctor's book.- Irish ProverbThought of the day:
When you regularly have a dose of both of these things, you know that you're still living a good quality of life. Even in the face of disease, cancer, and hardship-- don't let them take laughter and a good night's rest from you. Sometimes, these can really be a cure.
Surround yourself with the people that make you happy. This is an essential tip, since often who we choose to spend our time with has a great effect on our overall mental health.
And make the place you sleep an inviting, soothing place. Don't work in the same room you sleep - make sure your room is a calming place that is separate from the everyday hustle and bustle of life. Invest in some pillows, or a nice new comforter. Making sure you wake up refreshed every morning is the key to a healthy day!
Today we'd like to recognize COPD Awareness Month. Many of our members are struggling with COPD and Emphysema. Visit the support group to meet them and share your experience.Have a vivacious day!TeamDS
