Affirmation for November 16, 2010: Remedy For Stress

The time to relax is when you don't have time for it.

Thought of the day:
Do you find yourself in a constant frenzy? To-do lists a mile long? Not getting as much sleep as you need?
This might sound like crazy-talk, but it might just be crazy enough to work: make yourself a drink in a portable cup, and take a 10 minute walk. Or, take a 10 minute walk to your favorite cafe or yogurt shop, and order yourself a treat. Just 10 minutes.
Even if you have deadlines, even if you have 50 things to do, just force yourself to take 10 minutes within the next hour and go. During those 10 minutes, just walk, look around, and sip your treat. You can worry about everything else when you get back. These 10 minutes are yours.
If you can, repeat each day. It's an investment, but it's one you're making in yourself and your peace of mind.
Have a soothing day!
