Affirmation for May 7, 2009

A member, SelinaM, sent in a variation of this quote saying it was one of her favorites. I've seen several versions of this floating around for years, so I went searching for the original and here's what I found: Sing as if no one is listening, dance as if no one is watching, love as you've never loved before, live as if heaven is here on earth  Dr. William W. Purkey The quote has also been attributed to Mark Twain, and Fr. Alfred d'Souza, and made it's way into the lyrics of at least one song, "Come From The Heart" written by Susannah Clark and Richard Leigh. Who was Dr. William Purkey?
