Affirmation for May 18, 2009: Will Rogers
An onion can make people cry, but there has never been a vegetable invented to make them laugh. ~Will Rogers (1879 - 1935) Will Rogers spent a lot of time in LA and his former ranch is now a park where we go hiking. He also has a stretch of beach here named after him that we visit on occasion. He said a lot of amazing things in his life: simple, honest, and usually funny. This is one of my favorites. onions are meant to be eaten as is everything that is a food item. Personaly if that is your son you are holding up on your shoulders is your son. Then I should think that you should hold him with great pride. the greatest legacy you can leave behind is a well adjusted child. Never doubt your selve if you can make only one child in the world, ever not doubt them selves. we live through our childern, our challenge is to leave them more loved than we were. I f you can do this you are truely a great man indeed
