Affirmation for May 13, 2011: Graduation
Just about a month from now I'm set adrift, with a diploma for a sail and lots of nerve for oars.

Every year, a sea of fresh faces put on a silly gown, a flat-topped cap, and gather round to attend their commencement. Aptly named, for many of these students graduation does mark the beginning. And for some, this is just a next step in a journey they've started long ago, when they first realized their dreams.
Whether graduation is a milestone or a shotgun that starts the clock, it's a momentous occasion for all of us looking to the future of our world.
