We all pay a certain "tax" on this world, some more than others, and some earlier and some later. It can often seem unfair, and what decides the price we pay to live? We may never know the answer to this question, but we can support each other with an understanding that can be truly healing. This month we support Deep Vein Thrombosis Awareness. Deep Vein Thrombosis occurs when a blood clot forms in a vein. It can cause swelling, pain, a blockage, and if the clot moves to other areas of the body (called an embolism), it can injure vital organs.While DVT is seen most often in people over 60, it can occur at any age.
