Affirmation for March 25, 2010: Doug Larson
Life expectancy would grow by leaps and bounds if green vegetables smelled as good as bacon.- Doug Larson
Thought for Today:
It’s difficult, but vital, to fit fruits and vegetables into your daily diet. There are plenty of excuses to make that quick turn into McDonald’s rather than the grocery store, but think of this as your own personal challenge:
Make it a weekly Sunday routine to buy a weeks’ worth of two types of fruit and two types of vegetables of different colors. Have fun with it! Experiment each week with two new fruits or vegetables. Research delicious recipes that will incorporate next week’s purchase. Or just pick a favorite and stick with it!
The cost is low, and if you’re lucky enough to establish a habit, your body will thank you for it!
Have a bountiful day!
