Sleep is a blessing when it comes. I used to take a good night's sleep for granted, not any more. I'm always hopeful for another blessed good night's sleep.
I read a post on Facebook from a friend who lost her 17 year old son suddenly and unexpectedly one year ago- Valentine's Day. She said:
As I’ve scrolled through my feed, I’m so sad to see so many people post negative things or things about their lives being so bad.
My perception is, we all have mountains to climb, hurdles to jump over, roadblocks that are in the way, but honestly LIFE isn’t
that bad. Sure it’s easy to give up, but you have the power in YOU to keep going. YOU can change how you respond to
whatever life throws at you. Even on the low days or in dark times, life is still a beautiful gift! DO NOT GIVE UP! I am living proof
that giving up is NEVER the option!

We had to bury my kitty under one of our trees and I bawled my eyes out as I looked up at a starry sky. After I went to bed, my husband looked over at the grave and a shooting star went over it.

Seeing mountains
I just saw a shooting star and that filled me with a warm light. It was a much needed feeling in my dark time...
