Affirmation for June 29, 2010: Read A Book
A good book should leave you... slightly exhausted at the end. You live several lives while reading it.- William Styron, interview, Writers at Work, 1958Thought of the day:Sometimes, when the real life gets a little too overwhelming, don't escape into substances or a bad habit. Escape into a book! Anyone who's had the fortunate experience of getting absolutely lost in a good book will tell you: time will fly, minds will open, and you will emerge a little more enriched than when you first started. If you're looking for good book suggestions, there are several sites that can help. If you are an avid reader already, and you know the titles to your favorite books or you have a favorite author, check out www.whatshouldireadnext.com.
