There are many terrible wrongs done in the world every day, wrongs that inflict pain to innocent victims. But still, forgiveness is not necessarily a mercy you bestow on your aggressor - rather, forgiveness is a mercy you bestow on the world. To go through life allowing hate and anger to consume you and influence your perspective of the world is to go through this world without seeing its many lovely moments of love, and its many good people.For every one that's hurt you, think of every one that has helped you.
