Affirmation for June 13, 2011: Learning to Be on Time

Better three hours too soon, than one minute too late.- William Shakespeare
Thought of the day:
Ever wonder how some people can be on time, without fail, on any occasion, and how others, no matter how hard they try, are always late?
Learning to be on time takes practice and planning. Even if you take Shakespeare's advice and plan to be somewhere three hours early, you may end up leaving right when you were supposed to and arrive on time. Three might be excessive, so try blocking out at least an hour before you have to be somewhere, and plan to leave exactly an hour before you need to. Be strict with yourself, drop the little things you're doing or want to do before you leave, and associate a sense of urgency with your being on time.
It might be hard at first, but after awhile, people will start noticing your newfound punctuality.
Have a timely day!
