Affirmation for July 19, 2010: Love Others

I have found the paradox that if I love until it hurts, then there is no hurt, but only more love.- Mother TeresaThought of the day:Wonderful words from an inspirational woman. Today's saying speaks especially to giving love to those who need it the most - anyone who has helped a friend in need, or volunteered their time, or supported a family member, will know the feeling.
E. M. Forster writes a short story called "Mr. Andrews" that embodies the idea that part of what makes us human is our need to be social, and our need to help each other. Read the story for free at http://www.daily-pulp.com/literature/mr-andrews/. Tell us what you think!Have a helpful day!TeamDS

Why is it that when I act like Mother Teresa then that I continually fail to feel the same way she did? The more I have given in life, the more I have been taken from, I am left with nothing other than myself, I am lonely, why? I have nothing more to give, I have nothing more to take.

Mother Teresa, she sure was a pleaser, I am proof though that her application in life isn\'t a one fit all fit application at all, and far from it. Mother Teresa was a loving person of her fellow human sisters and brothers, and she will forever be remembered in healthy light, by me included.
