Affirmation for January 6, 2011: Magical Music

Today on the news, there was a report of a sargeant serving in Afghanistan wanting to learn guitar. He wrote emails to vearious places in the US inquiring after guitar shipments, and one store in Tennessee answered the call by donating a guitar a week. Guitars 4 Troops was soon founded, accepting donations of guitars and funds to send to soldiers. The website contains many touching photos of young men playing the guitars.It's never too late to learn a new instrument. Used guitars, keyboards, and other instruments are relatively inexpensive, and singing is virtually free! Picking up an instrument or learning to sing can not only add music to your life, but also lift your mood and give you a goal to strive for.Have a melodic day!TeamDS
