Affirmation for January 3, 2012: Resolutions

We spend January 1 walking through our lives, room by room, drawing up a list of work to be done, cracks to be patched. Maybe this year, to balance the list, we ought to walk through the rooms of our lives... not looking for flaws, but for potential.Ellen Goodman
Thought of the Day:
New Years is an easy starting point for all of us to restart our lives and wipe our slates clean. We pull out our pens and paper and write down our new promises to ourselves - quit smoking, lose weight, be more organized, etc. etc. We take our weaknesses and use this opportunity to better ourselves.
Sometimes, though, we don't always have to look at our weaknesses. Why not try something new and look at our strengths? This is a great opportunity to see how we've grown in the last year and encourage that positive change! Knowing we've made it this far shows potential that we can improve even more.
Good luck in fulfilling your resolutions!
