Help yourself first, for if you help others before your able to help yourself then you only honestly and truely hinder your own progress. So unless you have extra money after all your bills are paid, you have no debt and you can afford it then you should only make a personalized card and mail it to Santa. Becouse it is a fantasy to think it\'s healthy to take away from ones own growth to stop our growth in the face of others natural dissasters. We are dealing with current ongoing crissises. So yeah only help if your rich and have extra money. Other than that keep your head above the water long enough to learn how to doggy paddle. And forget all the people trying to vie for your already limited attention, attention that they are attempting to take you away from a real ongoing crisses. Not some inconsequential natural disaster on the other side of the world. Like we don\'t have enough smoke and mirrors of distraction
I agree, not everyone can afford to give. But most of us could give up one can of Coke for a few days and drink water instead.
Unless I misunderstood, you seem to be implying that a 7.0 earthquake is an \"inconsequential\" natural disaster. Not really.
Haiti is not on the \"other\" side of the world, it\'s about 710 miles (as the bird flies) from Port-au-Prince to Miami, about the same as from New York City to Chicago (about 720 miles).
i believe that we can give,,,,,just decide how much? it does not matter the dollar amount, because even if we all just gave 1 dollar,,,,,,it would turn into millions!! :)
