I believe I have done the right thing. Now to get in there and prove it.
I could use this in my current situation
I don’t even think I know what I would consider “success”. I feel like I am in such a horrible place emotionally right now.
Love it!
Soooo true!!!! We should always believe in our self and accept nothing less.
I can go for this!
To succeed doesn’t have to be something huge. It can be that day you finally get out of bed and face the day. It can be that moment you found yourself smiling again. It can be the day you decide to start taking care of you. Any step forward is a success.
I’m in there with wandering.
Wow!This hit home for me today. I definitely need more belief in self. Thank you, Nikos.
I not only know I can succeed, I can do it with a smile on my face and determination in my mind!
I am succeeding in my own terms. and to prove it in my own terms, I am looking great, I am loving friends and family and each
day and life is full of promise, hope and love. and i feel a prickle in my eyes. I havent cried for years barely but now I want it
s healing waters. Thank you Daily Strength. and esp my friends here.
The problem with relying on self - self affirmations, self proclaimations, - is that self always fails. Particularly if you are in a bad place already.
I prefer to put my faith and trust in Jesus Christ. I know that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Phi. 4:13
I know that: “And we know all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28
Secularism is a faulty system, that really cannot heal the human heart. It was God that took me from a place of grief and sadness, uncertainty and depression, to a place of confidence, boldness and healed my hurts and fears. That is a REAL success story.
If I may, (mods may delete, of course) here is a link to my DS Support Group, Christian Support Group, if you want to come and ask questions about God, or even rail against him for a while. We have a group who care, and are ready to listen!
