Affirmation for February 16, 2011: Sisters
Having a sister is like having a best friend you can't get rid of. You know whatever you do, they'll still be there.- Amy LiThought of the day:There are ups and downs in every family, but sisters share a bond that, try as you might, can't easily be broken. Today, we want to celebrate sisterhood and the power of women to stick by each other through thick and thin. Whether your sister is a family member or a close friend, the spirit of that friendship is the same.If you and your sister are in disagreement, maybe it's time to take a step towards resolving it, even if it means backing down. You may find that cherishing the relationship is more important than anything else.Have a loving day!TeamDS

Its very hard when your sister has hurt you very badly. i am having a hard time forgiving her. havent talked to her in over 6 months and even before that we fought whenever we talked. i am trying to forgive her because i know its what i should do...but its so hard when she hurt me so badly.
I\'d say my sister and I aren\'t close at all, we never have been. She has hurt me and been the pretty popular one, more involved than her social life than her own family. She likes to tell me I\'m not goof enough, put me down, and talk behind my back. I\'ve always wished we could be friends but I don\'t think that will ever happen. I actually happen to be very close with my little brother, funny thing is that he is only nine. I\'m twenty and and sister is twenty-two.
With not than***
Good enough*. Dans iPod Touch..
Damn *. Lol. Ugh
I could not get through this if it wasn\'t for the love and support of my two sisters. I thank God every day for them.

I have an older sister and we have had our share of ups and downs and arguments. As well as our share of nice loving happy moments as sisters. We love each other but we can get on each others last nerve. We each have our own lives and our own friends and some friends that are friends to both of us. We do better when we are apart and we keep our distance from each other. But we know that if we ever need each other that one of us will always be there for the other. It is a very interesting relationship between sisters one day you can almost be enemies and the next best friends. I hate being the younger sister forever in my older sister\'s shadow. But I guess having an older sister is better than not having a sister at all. Thanks for sharing this Journal about sisterhood it is always good to be reminded of the special bond and love that sisters share.
I am blessed with three sisters. I love them so much. I am the oldest and I have two sisters who have probally experienced some of my \"I know best\".
When I was eight years old I was responsible for two of my sisters and two brothers. I grew used to protecting them. I have always wished for an older sister to take care of me.
Hippytoo, I am also the oldest, and raised my two sisters, and one brother. I am fiercly protective of family!
Try to disagree with the person\'s opinion, disapprove her behavior the language, but love the person just the same.
