Affirmation for December 3, 2014: To Forgive

Forgiveness ... is the finishing of old business that allows us to experience the present, free of contamination from the past.- Joan Borysenko
Thought of the Day
Forgiving others not only let's you move on with your life, and do away with the negative influences of the past, but it's also very good for your overall health. Studies show that being forgiving results in lower heart-rate and blood pressure and stress relief. It also helps you develop better relationships, as well as conflict resolutions skills. The positive thoughts, feelings and behaviors associated with being forgiving far outweigh the gratification (if there truly is any) of holding onto grudges.
Truly forgive. Learn the lesson beyond the mistake and move on. Don't waste any more of your time holding onto the negativity others bring into your life. There are so many better things to do.
Have a forgiving day!

I do not think forgiveness is for a person(s) who never own up to the damage they have done to other people. If they have no guilt, then they should know there are people who will never forgive or forget.
