Affirmation for December 10, 2010

If you are cold, tea will warm you.  If you are too heated, it will cool you.  If you are depressed, it will cheer you.  If you are excited, it will calm you.- Gladstone, 1865Thought of the day:In the novel, The Elegance of the Hedgehog, tea is celebrated as both an ecstatic experience and a soothing elixir. Tea is easy to make and cheaply available. If you are not a tea drinker, or if you're trying to get off coffee, try brewing yourself a cup especially when you're feeling stressed and need a moment of peace. Pressing "pause" on the world to sip a cup of tea may be the greatest escape you've ever discovered!Have a calming day!TeamDS

I like to make my tea in hot water and add milk. This makes warm milk tea, good for relaxing, good for the bones, and smooth and tasty.

Most tea contains a coctail of stimulants!!!! It\'s completely false about making you calm,, it in fact does the opposite! I love tea but i won\'t drink it if i\'m anxious. It stimulates the sympathetic nervous system causing you to sweaty and hot, it is an old wives tale that says it cools you down.
