Affirmation for December 1, 2009: Dee Hock

The problem is never how to get new, innovative thoughts into your mind, but how to get old ones out. Every mind is a building filled with archaic furniture. Clean out a corner of your mind and creativity will instantly fill it. ~Dee Hock Founder of the Chaordic Alliance (1929 - )     Thought for today:   Am I willing to let go of old thoughts and beliefs?   Have a great day!   Doug

Wonderful insight! Are we willing to release old thoughts and embrace the changes and challenges that each new day brings? This puts into words beautifully what I am struggling with at this point in my journey. Thank you fo sharing this!

True. It\'s hard to unteach yourself something you \"know\" so that you can replace it with something else to \"know.\"

Hi Doug! I believe in letting go of old thoughts and beliefs also starts with forgiveness. One can\'t completely be free and move forward without forgiving those that hurt you.

I\'m not too sure but I try not to think of the past because it hurts so much. Even thinking of the good times make me cry. I hope I will find an answer as I go thru\' this very very difficult journey in my life. Its exhausting! Thanks for the quote. It makes me wonder....

This is one of the hardest things to do, yet one of the most important things to move on and rebuild. I wish it was as easy as opening and closing a door. It seems I left the windows open.

That\'s something I certainly need to do. And I am willing to.

HA!
I need the manual on letting go. I haven\'t been very good at that!

Cheers.
