Affirmation for August 9, 2012: Natural Renewal

Take a course in good water and air;and in the eternal youth of Nature you may renew your own.Go quietly, alone; no harm will befall you.- John Muir
Let today be the day you renew your energy, and your spirit with just a few simple steps.
Try starting with some house cleaning - clutter can often just get in the way. Also, take time to wholly invest yourself with the more positive people and things in your life. But before the day is done, take a moment to connect with the natural world around you: take a walk amongst the trees, or put your bare feet into a patch of green grass; truly feel the wind blow upon your face.
Nature has the power to renew your spirit like nothing else. Embrace it's power. And embrace the new you.
Have a renewing day!

I\'m lucky enough to have a 10 minute walk through a park every day on my way to work. I plant a garland of potted flowers on the steps of my business every year. The landlord likes it very much, he gets complimented and it keeps my rent down. I get to sit there and have a coffee and enjoy a bit of peace, living in a busy city. This summer I found a lot of new parks in my spare time. The Ocean is 3 hours away so, I have to settle for local waters except for vacation! It\'s amazing how 10 minutes of sun once in a while helps defend me from my own negative thoughts.

It\'s nice to meet you. My daughter has a chinchilla. I tired to plant a garden this year but the squirrels have eaten most of it. I also enjoy what I call nature walks and breathing in the air in the wooded areasmsurrounding me.
Planting such as you do is very forfilling.

I have been trying to take little 20 minute walks everyday around my neighbourhood lately. Really does help me smile a little more. Thank you.
