Affirmation for August 24, 2011: A Wealth of Memories

A man's real possesion is his memory. In nothing else is he rich, in nothing else is he poor.- Alexander Smith
Thought of the Day:
As the summer winds down and vacation ends, we are left with nothing more than the photos and journal entries that captured the time we spent. When we look back and put value to our past's accomplishments, we tend to reference our memories or time well spent. What's interesting to notice is how everyone's life is worth so much to them, regardless of financial success or social class. It's the fact that their journey is their own. They put that weight on their memories - the fact it was they that earned that memory and experienced it first hand.
Holding onto these memories and creating more add onto your wealth of recollections that, in the end, seem to be the only things that count.
Make Memories!
