Affirmation for August 19, 2011: Give Your Mind a Break

Education is what remains after one has forgotten everything he learned in school.- Albert Einstein
Thought of the Day:
For many of us, school is around the corner for our kids, siblings, or ourselves. After three months of emptying our brains, it's time to refill them. Isn't it funny how after going to school for nine months, we so easily forget all that information? It's even stranger to realize how much we've truly retained when we find ourselves applying that knowledge in our daily life.
Then Fall comes rolling around and as soon as the books are cracked open once again, all the information we thought was forever lost come flooding back to our minds. Sometimes a break from the drills and cram sessions allows our brains to re-calibrate and resort all that information and essentially refresh our minds.
Whether we're hitting the books or just flipping another page in our lives, remember, simply taking a breath from all the chaos will cut our work in half when we return.
Good Luck!TeamDS
