Affirmation for August 17, 2012: The Power of a Nap
But the important thing is to lie down and fall asleep. That little nap means you wake up fresh again and can continue.James Levine
Thought of the Day:
In a society where constant productivity is honored and sleep is often a distant dream, the idea of being well rested can seem unthinkable in the middle of the day. By 2pm, we get into our afternoon slump and the day seems to grow longer. Our input far ourweighs our output. Sleep is our brain's way of organizing the information we've collected throughout the day. We need to take the load off our minds by stowing it away - both information-wise and emotionally.
So when the day gets tough, know there's a quick and relaxing way to sort out our brains and rejuvinate the day without the aid of coffees or teas!
Have a Nice Nap!TeamDS
