Affirmation for April 5, 2011: Scrapbooking As Therapy
Scrapbooking is cheaper than a therapist.- Author UnknownThought of the day:Have you ever considered spending an hour at Target or Walmart, picking out scrapboking supplies, instead of visiting your therapist? True, it may not work for everyone, but creating a scrapbook is an incredibly rewarding experience. It doesn't even have to be a scrapbook that anyone sees but you.Scrapbook shopping is a stationary lover's dream come true. Start with a scrapbook that you like from the store, and a few sheets of paper. Don't forget to pick up some glue and fancy pens to write with. There are no rules to scrapbooking - you can put whatever you want in it. When you're feeling depressed, express how you feel with cutouts and doodles; if there is a memory you want to cherish, take a photo and remember to put it in your scrapbook later.Looking back on your scrapbook may reveal insights about the way you feel, and, as today's quote points out - it's cheaper than a therapist.Have a creative day!TeamDS
