What happens when the path we plan to go down closes off? Do we stop and turn around or do we venture down a new path? It’s scary. It’s challenging. New paths bring scenes, moments & opportunities that maybe the old path couldn’t bring. Embrace the new path and take a stroll.

This affirmation reminds me of Robert Frost's poem "The Road Less Traveled". He stood for a moment pondering two paths, one well worn and one less traveled. He took the one less traveled and said it made all the difference. I'm still searching for the road or path I should follow. I'm feeling a bit lost right now.
I'm learning how to embrace the unexpected without fear, it isn't easy because of my past but i wanna be free now and run and play without a care, i wasn't taught how to do it so i must teach myself
I am not afraid of this new path--I am loving it. I feel like I am getting a chance to "do over". I have started a list of "first time I ever..." after realizing how sheltered my life has been. I, too, just want to play, have fun and "experience" living life. My problem is that after a year I have lost my self-challenge to just put myself out there....I need companionship. The experiences feel lacking without someone else to share them with...lonely road.
I love this post and plan to share it with the widow/widower group I lead, but I have to agree with SSSam, companionship is missing and that makes for a bit of a lonely road. It isn't the same as, say, taking a road trip with your spouse and talking about the scenery, where we stop for lunch, the kids, where sound we go next, etc. You get the idea.
My new positive things are finally positive with decent people

Try contemporary worship and praise music it’s great

A New path can be challenging and full of adventure. It can bring happiness.
As a Christian, I've had to let go, and let God write my story. I was bored before. I can say, it's been very challenging, and scary, but exciting and satisfying and it is so important to be open to new roads.
It can be challenging for you and your family. Everything can go well then can make a real mess when not expecting it. I just hope all turns out well and doesn't make life worse.
