Aeroponics Lab
It's possible that my most mourned loss of the last year is The Sandbox. I'm not sure emotions can be accurately ranked, but I felt pretty confident with the growth curve on the grow/distillation lab I called the sandbox at the time the FIL's final health crisis took over the family in August of last year. I was calling it, "The Sandbox" because of my hope that family members would learn how to play nice together in the areas where our interests overlap. I am ready to declare that piece delusional, but the rest feels like a trajectory I would like to resume.
My restless anticipation of the possibility of the house transaction completing in the next few days finds me less interested in the house than the dilapidated old out-building I have begun calling, "The Aeroponics Lab." The remnants of the sandbox are probably still sitting on the abandoned job site where I left them partially reassembled back in March. The building is entirely too dilapidated to receive those pieces yet, but I find myself wanting to carry through with the investment purchase that was postponed in the wave of family transitions which began with the FIL's decline.

Could make a nice house-warming present. Small steps. It ain't over till the ink dries. Easy does it.

I murder plants...slowly, but surely. I try, but I I've overwatered or underwatered. It's just really pathetic.
