advice needed...
Well if you were with me or read my journals this past summer I was scheduled to have my first IVF through a infertility trial study. Well, it was canceled due to my prolactin levels being too high. I had to take medication, MRI, and monitoring to get it normal. I just finished and I now want to try again. The thing is I KNOW IN MY HEART that my tubes are blocked. Almost 2 years ago, I had the LAPO. surgery to go in and see whats up. Well, my doc said tubes were now open try for 3 months if not pregnant the tubes can close up again. Well, here I am 2 years later and no baby. So do I pay over 400.oo freaking dollars to check my tubes or precede with finding a way to go straight to IVF. I am so tired of paying money and getting no baby. I really feel as though thats why I am not getting pregnant or do I pay for another HSG to see for sure if they are closed??? I don't know.....help..

It is so frustrating...the amount of money involved with out heartaches. In Canada if your tubes are blocked then IVF is free for the first round. Is it the same legislation where you are? I told my mother the other day when I went for my Ovarian drilling consult that next year she will be a grandmother...whether it is through adoption or natural. Keep positive it will happen.

Hi there..my heart goes out to you because I feel your pain,IVF is so expensive it\'s hard when you know something and can feel it but you\'ve gotta go through so much to acheive it when others do effortlessly (I dont know if that a word..lol). Im struggling with that right now. All I can say is keep trying and know that GOD hasn\'t brought you this far to leave you.

will the study not take you if your tubes are blocked? you\'re tubes are pointless anyway for IVF, so if it doesnt matter if they are blocked or not, i say just go to the IVF...
thats what i would do anyway. whatever you choose will feel right for you!
I would go with the IVF. God will find a way. You were lucky enough to find a study once I bet you will find another one. Have you tried calling the same place? Perhaps they have another study? Good Luck. XO :)
