Advice need, Advice granted!!=)

My wondeful DS ladies thanks so much for all the support. In response to getting checked out. My doctor basically said my cervix opened up too early (incompentant cervix). If I got pregnant again he would do a cerclage right away (sew up my cervix).  My water rumpturing early he said or things that sometimes you just can't explain unless it happened over and over again.  I would be considered high risk with lots of monitoring the next time around. He assures me that the good thing is that now we know about my cervix and we can do our best to fix it this time. Had this never happened we would have never known about my cervix. So there you have it. For now I am praying and putting it into God's hands for direction. I was told that sometimes it doesn't matter when you begin trying it is still going to be terrifying. That statement made so much sense. Yet, I still want to be at peace with the decision. You guys don't know how much you mean to me. Thanks

I don\'t know if the cerclage plan brought you as much comfort as the different medications my docs had lined up for me, but to hear that they HAD A PLAN and would watch closely really helped me to move ahead. I think you are right though...I don\'t know how there isn\'t fear after losing a baby, especially 2nd trimester and after when everyone says we are \"SAFE\"

Praying for you!!

I feel better knowing that they now have a plan for you. Now they will monitor your next pregnancy closer. Since I have been loosing my pregnancies near the beginning they still do not know what to do. Trying is always scary but the end result will be so worth it!
