Adrenaline high
My weekend plans fell through (repeatedly...*a-hem! Cough cough!* S!) so I needed to find a way to occupy my time. I spent most of the day watching an Ani Difranco DVD that I had been saving for a special occasion, and WOW, was it good. The best concert of hers I've ever seen, and I've seen a LOT. I also sat at the table and did a lot of beadwork all day. But I was feeling lonesome and a bit blue at having nobody to share time and conversation with, and I'm normally a pretty sociable person. I knew I needed something to get my hormones up, and walking around the block and calling friends all day - none of whom were home the whole weekend - just wasn't doing it. So I took a drive. And would anyone like to guess where I went, what I did, and why my adrenaline is so high? (no dirty guesses, please. LOL!) Here's a hint: hawks followed me home. And I'm not just saying that so it'll make a good story.

Does it involve a place in the woods, with a mountainous outcropping that held a tiny tree in a crevace; where a man-in-the-making sat in a circle of stones, and began to live?
Nope, not even close. :)
Next hint: being big and muscular were helpful.
did you go mountain climbing...lol
i like this game!
Nope!
Next hint: I arrived with something that I did not return with.
oh my i can\'t even think of a silly guess...
any other hints?!
You took your loneliness and blue to the mountains and left them there and returned with adrenaline and hawks in tow. :-)
I am so thankful for what you did this weekend. You dont even have to tell me, I got it from this journal. I am so proud of you for being able to do that. Thank you so much. I know it\'s wierd for me to say I am proud of you, because you are older than me and your so much wiser. It doesn\'t seem significant that I am proud, but I just thought I would let you know. *proud and thankful*
wow. it\'s powerful just reading the dialogue. i can only imagine what you and shay feel. you are both amazing, and i really admire this step you\'ve taken.
I feel sick. I am happy, but really nervous. I dont even know. OH, sorry, lol I dont mean your OLD, I just mean older than myself. lol touchy subject, Stuck point much>>>>???LOL
Awesome....personal delivery! And the hawks followed you home. I love it!
Oh wow, brilliant, would never have guessed that one.
Em............... next time you are down my way you can deliver some letters for me. :-)
Awesome!
How awesome.
heeee, i like it, i\'ve seen a cock do their dance before the attack, i could imagine you doing that same dance.............lol
My that is ironic...the very same restaurant?!?....although I am one that believes there are very few \'accidents\'....you would never even have to say a word to skinny boy...just seeing your face again would be plenty.... : ) What an interesting situation! I would pay good money to see the responding \'I am afraid of you dance, but have to make nice for tipping customers so I have to take it....\' from skinny boy, aka Chicken Little.
\'quote\'\"(actually, this was more of the style of Wind in his Hair form Dances With Wolves, when he stares down Lt. Dunbar without blinking and says, \"do you see that I am not afraid of you?\")\"
well my friend, that i\'de have to see..........he he he...................and no i couldn\'t imagine you dancing like a \'rooster\' they are graceful and light on their feet..................lol :-D
