Admitting my addiction

This has been the most frightening and emotional week of my life. I admitted to myself and my soon to be ex-wife that I am a sex addict. I have know this for more years than I can remember, but lied to myself and my wife about it. Guess this is just part of the addiction, thinking I could fix it and control it. Not the case as I'm coming to terms with my problems. I'm so broke and defeated right now. How could this have happened? I look at my life and I'm disgusted at what I see. I'm not the person I wanted to be. I've wrecked lives and hurt people badly. I feel so low at this time and futureless.
So I've attended two meetings this past week. I've ordered the green book and am forcing myself to read it. I plan to find a counselor that specializes in sexual addiction to help me prevent this from continuing to destroy me.
I've lost all control of my life right now and can't see any hope. The only faith I have right now is this friggen token they gave me at the first meeting. As crazy as it seems, that's it, a little piece of metal.
