Addison's disease

I was diagnosed with Addison's disease on New Year's eve eve.  Great time , right?  I take 20 mg. of Hydrocortisone which I don't feel is working too well.  April 23,2013 I had a double cervical spinal disk replacement , and I thought that was tough.  Well, Addison's is tougher , I'm afraid to say.  I just want to feel like my "old" self. I'm not liking the " new normal ".  I also suffer from asthma, Gastroparesis and Migraines.  I have about 15 migraines a month, wondering if my lack of cortisol is causing some of them.
I am very thankful to join this group , there aren't many people that have Addison's . So any help , ideas, and encouragement would be appreciated.

For some reason, it seems many doctors just don\'t give the right dosage to people. My doctor started me at 30 m per day, then in 2 weeks increased me to 40 mg. Now that I am doing a bit better, I am working my way back down to see what is the lowest dosage I can take yet still have it work for me. If you feel your dosage is too low and your doctor won\'t increase it, I would find another doctor, hon. Hope you are having a good day.
