acupuncture!
I just got home from my first acupuncture treatment and I am impressed! While he was doing the treatment my urge to cough went away and i could take a deep breath.....well as deep as I can.
There were a few uncomfortable moments when he stimulated the needles but no pain. Then he did cupping on my back to help with the lungs and I got 2 herbals supplements to try. I am excited for this, I know thtathis is no miracle cure but if it can stop the progression of the scarring in my lungs...woo hoo!!!!
My next appointment is on monday, it will be interesting to see how I feel as the day goes on and over the weekend. I feel like I have small muscle cramps in my shins right now....like you over did it a bit. He only did 6 needles this time around. So i will be interested to see what happens next time.....

Glad to hear it was a positive experience. And that would be a BIG thing, if it can stop or even slow the scarring. I will be interested in how you feel tomorrow as well. Hope you get a chance to meditate soon while the energy is still flowing. Wonderful things can happen when you get your own energy wrapped into the healing process!

I\'m so glad that you liked your experience. Do you have to go once a week for four weeks? That\'s my acupuncturist\'s standard. Now I\'m going twice a month. I had to go once/week while withdrawing from the prednisone and it helped tremondously. My first few visits I didn\'t notice much, but after you have had it enough times you get a more complete reaction; if that makes sense. Only six pins, but he was concentrating on the cupping. That\'s what I love about this, they cater the treatment to your needs. I still get over 100 pins, but she has to do a lot of work on me. I\'m so happy for you and if you have any questions, just drop me a line.
He didn\'t say how often but I am going next week. I slept like a baby last night, my back is still tender from the cupping but he said it would be for a bit.
