Accomplished
Today, of course the hottest day of the year so far, in the 90's well forget spring this year....I planted some flowers.....trimmed the ivy...can't decide whether to take the ivy up in from of the two windows on the left side of the house and take out the bushes that get overgrown and plant me a nice flower garden....lots of work..so may just take it slow in working on it..
Fell about two months ago and now my right hip and right side hurts so bad...so bending and planting and weeding...ouch today....If the hot sun could take the weight off, I would have lost 10 pounds today, then just have another 9 pounds to go to get back in last year summer clothes...well, the small size...in medium size right now...so hopefully a few walks with my sweet Abby and some working in the yard...will make my nice white shorts look okay again....
Hubby worked on cleaning Motor Home...we are both done in...We thought of taking Abby for an evening walk but too tired and achie..(is that a word)....so we just played a new game with her and she was happy...
Mom's birthday was Sunday,,,we went to see her Monday...I had a long talk to the Administration....lets see after all that happened last week...get there..it of over 9
0 degrees outside...who has air-condition on...well of course her office...my mom's room was like a heat wave...so therefore began my first talk with the so called administration....Hello Ms Sandi...Helen's daughter has arrived and she will not take this type of conditions for her mother.....Of course after a few other talks,,,she sat there with the lies coming out of her clenched teeth...Clenched teeth, she has not see anything yet if she thinks I will handle being lied to and not follow through that my mom is not getting the care she deserves....so of course I got all this false promises....says they are bringing in a PT to work with her...yea...will see...give her until next Wednesday and see what happens...Like
I told her we are daughter's that put their mom away and go home to never return to see how she is being treated. May be other families like that...but not us...and of course she is setting there knowing that it only takes one family to turn her in and off into medicare/medicad coming and we all know that don't like that happening, they could lose their money they are sucking in.....Time will tell...
My dear sister's birthday is tomorrow....have to call her early in the morning...We have this thing in our family of being the first on to call on someone birthday....so guess I will find out in the morning.
Missed Ken as usual...Brent got a hot tub...Shawn grilled a great meal so he said and Jeff back to work today...
Well, gotta close..have this great little things to put in a drill to dig the holes for the plants...but dang if the thing didn't twist my wrist...so hard to type....

Sandi, it was hot and humid yesterday with no end in sight. I had hope of watering my roses as the sun was going down. Unfortunately I spent most of the day litterally on the phone. My best friend\'s husband Eddie\'s Mother passed away Sat. The service is today as is my appointment with the neuro-surgeon. Nettie along with her husband have a large family, add freinds we\'re looking at possibly eighty or so people who will attend the after service luncheon. Nettie\'s was supose to take care of picking up deserts, salads and rolls. She is beside herself with worry. Eddie remained strong untill late yesterday. HIs Mother is 79 yrs. old and his Dad in his mid eighties. They are a tight knit family....My plan is to take Nettie\'s list this morning and head to Kroger\'s....My son will attend the funeral and then head to our facility here in town and set up the luncheon. I\"d appreciate your keeping us in your prayers......Love to you, Pat
Hey Sandi good for you for looking out for your Mom\'s care. You sound like such a hard worker, I\'ve been so lazy lately. I do the absolute minimum in house and yard work, perhaps that will change when I\'m feeling better about life. Terry
Sandi, your Mom is very fortunate to have you as her advocate. It is terrible that you have to ensure that proper care is given, but it seems like that is today\'s world; a lot of workers don\'t seem to care as much anymore to just do the right thing...
Hope that your body aches will improve. Hip pain is something I\'m very familiar with and can be very torturesome... it is my left hip that is a problem esp. when I am especially tired.

Keep up on the razzing to the facility for your Mom. That is the only way to improve things. After your workout in the garden you need to jump into the hot tub to relax the muscles then rest. As for the heat we have been in the 90\'s we have a sea breeze that is a blessing. Hot spring Hotter summer!
