Abs

Abbie did not get up until after 8 this morning. Checked on her through out the day, she did not eat anything at all . I hand fed her a few biscuits this morning. She was not even willing to eat her treats. She took her meds this morning but as far as could tell she did not move much all day. I carried her inside and she has just been sleeping. Its been raining on off since Sat. maybe she will perk up when her joints and hips stop aching from all the moisture. But it looks like rain tomorrow. I'll call the vet in the morning, she is !5 and has a good life. We've traveled across the Country 4 times ,she has been a very good and constant companion . I had just been hoping she just would just not wake up.  It will be hard on me to have to have her put to sleep , but I think she is telling me the fight is over Dad throw in the towel I'm very tired. I'll call the vet in the morning.

I can relate to your situation. Got a austrailian shepard for my son many years ago though the humane socieity, a puppy and she developed the worst case of scurvy I\'ve ever seen a the vet could not save her. I\'d gotten her for my youngest son and it was terrible at our house for quite a while. Hope yours is better and running around in no time.
