About me

Today I joined this site and decide to do something new and write in a journal that others can see, usually my journals r n a drawer in my nightstand. I have been in constant chronic pain for the last 14 years. I have Degenerative Disc Disease, Fibro, chronic pain syndrome (didn't know this was an actual thing until couple months ago), myofacial pain, CFS, IBS, unknown auto immune disorder,SI Joint dysfunction, 3 different fusion, a hysterectomy, and now Raynauds. It's been a rough time and I must say that I have thrown many a pity party that has lasted from hours to weeks, thankfully don't do that anymore. I'm terrified of doctors because I feel like whenever I go they always find something new wrong with me and they wonder why my BP & pulse are up. I'm a Baptist and believe highly in the power of Our Lord. Today I was reading my daily bible study and came across Romans 5:3,4 that said "we must rejoice in our sufferings, because suffering produces endurance, endurance produces character, and character produces hope".  HOPE, what I wonderful word and knew way to look at what's going on with my body and my life. I believe that everyone has a purpose in the world and everything happens for a reason. I never knew my reason till today. It's to endure so that I can have, and be able to share, HOPE.  My pain may never go away while I'm on his earth but I know that when I get to Heaven there will be no more pain.
