? about Medication and side effects

I recently had a sleep study done because my legs mainly but sometimes my whole body twitches every few seconds.It does this enough so that my brain wakes up but I do not but it is interfering with my R.E.M. sleep. In fact during the study I did not have any R.E.M.sleep. R.E.M. sleep is the deep sleep where you dream and get fully rested. Iam on 1mg tablets of klonipin twice a day and 200mg capsules of Luvox CR 1 time per day. The sleep study Doctor wants me to slowly ween myself off the klonipin during the next month replacing it with neurtin. They say it is better to get your anxiety under control with as little meds as possible which I agree with. I have been feeling pretty good lately was a little upset with what they want me to do. I made an appt. with the person who prescribes my medication tomorrow. Has anyone else experienced twitching from medicine or could it be from anxiety and being so tense all the time. Answers would be appreciated.

I have a major issue with my entire body twitching all the time. I have asked several doctors over the years, but nobody did anything about it or did any further studies. Mine is not due to my meds though, I just twitch constantly! It is irritating sometimes, but I usually just ride it out! Hey, maybe I should ask my new doc....I just thought that since my body has done this since I was a kid, I just figured it was normal! who know?
Meds...grrr! Changing meds is never easy, nor plesant in the slightest! the klonopin didn\'t do a thing for me and I have never heard of the other med you are. The neurtin...I think my best friend is on that, but I don\'t know much about it?
