Abnormal Pap - ASCUS

This year's and last year's pap smears both turned out abnormal (ASCUS) and negative for HPV.  The first time I had an abnormal pap before this was many years ago and they performed a colposcopy and everything was okay.  I am wondering whether another colposcopy should be in order.  Just wondering.  Any input on this issue would be appreciated.
