Abjure
One of my characteristics of my personality is being controlling. I need order in my life. When things are concrete and certain there is reason and a goal to obtain. If things are left for free will, then there is too much room for mistakes and chaos. To control people or situations is as impossible of a defeat as being perfect but, this is embedded in my personality. Traits that I sometimes dislike and so do others. People are intimidated by this domineering power. No one likes to be told what to do or told that they are doing something wrong. I have a tendency to demand this on others, a lot.
I guess this is where my profile name comes from. To avoid this is not possible (lol abjured it whichever definition you would like in this situation suits this lol). To ignore it is denying who I really am. Can I change my ways? Sure I could but, this would mean that I would have to let go, and be free. Chained to this word and I have thrown away the key. I will carry the burden of this heavy weight. I will suffer my fate. I will own it and abjure.
I am not at all surprised that I seclude myself from others and I don’t question why people seem to avoid my company. I will have to learn to be a LEADER instead of a boss. Work together for happiness, instead of demanding it.

You may become the head of a very successful business one day? What appears to be a negative personality trait in one situation may be just what is needed in another. You can work at improving the situation by allowing this \'trait\' to be patiently waiting for the right situation to emerge where it will make itself feel right at home and as happy as a clam. As you indicate, for now you can work at channeling this \'trait\' into one of leadership knowing that down the road when needed you may also combine this trained \'leader\' with the needed \'power\' of a boss to run a business.
That you have such awareness is amazing and will serve you well in all aspects of your life and career.

Well, if everyone was like me, nothing would ever get done. I am totally disorganised. What a boring world it would be if we were all the same! Some are born to business and others to be artists and musicians. It\'s this endless variety of personalities that makes getting to know people so interesting. You can learn more from those who are different from you, than those who are similar, though it is probably more enjoyable to be with people who are similar as it feels more comfortable.
What is most important is to keep an open mind, that way we can learn from those who are different from ourselves, as well as enjoy the company of like minded souls.
:) Imstilwaiting yes, I do have to agree. I am fasinated by all types of people. We all share one quality and that is to be accepted for who we are. Understanding and compassion is what we all need to learn.
