ABBA
I'm still on my ABBA kick. Guess it's been 2 or 3 months now. I really hadn't heard much of them when they were popular. Country music was my thing then. A few years ago, I heard one of their songs on an oldies radio station and it got my attention. I went out an got the ABBA Gold cassette. It's great. It's a shame they weren't as popular in the U.S. as in Europe. We really missed out on a great group. You may have heard of ABBA, now because of the movie, "Mamma-Mia" It's based on their music. But, don't judge them by how the actors on the movie sing. Listen to the real ABBA. They're from Sweden and English is their second language, but you couldn't tell it. At the time, the 2 men and 2 women were married to each other. They've split up now. I never knew what they looked like till I got on You Tube and watched their videos. Now, I watch them every night and can't seem to get tired of them. They're beautiful people and seem to love each other and love being together in the group. They furnish me happy time. I wish I could share them with you, but I don't know how. If you have high speed internet, go to You Tube and type in ABBA in the search box. Try out some of their videos and listen to the music. I don't think you'll be disappointed no matter what your age. I'm 62,,,an old time rock and roll and country music fan and i can't get enough of them.

I\'m with you Mike, i\'ve been an ABBA fan since they first came out and i know all their songs by heart, i swear. I recently added my CD\'s to my i-tunes library so i can enjoy them on my iPod too. I recently saw a picture of them from when they attended the opening of Mama-Mia. They sure look different, at least the women do. They guys look almost the same, maybe a little more weight, lol. Thanks for sharing your story with us. Take care, my friend, and keep on Rockin\'! Hugs and kisses, Deb :o)
Love ABBA. Sue
I\'ve just had the same experience with Ken Dodd from Britian. I was introduced to him by one of our British members. He\'s on youtube. His best might be Happiness.
I\'ve gone ape over his voice. I bought a set of three CD\'s and his bio. You might enjoy him. I\'m going to ABBA right now. I missed so much good music while I was very busy raising kids but I\'m catching up now!!!
Have any MEMORIES for us?

You need to see the movie \"Mama Mia\" because it\'s funny and fun and features all Abba music. I loved it!
