Aaaaah, Texas......
Just got back from my home state of Texas. I had a wonderful trip to see my sister. The bluebonnets were in bloom (the Texas state flower) and the weather was great. I LOVE where I live and don't want to move back. But, there are some things about Texas that I miss: slower pace....TexMex food, good pit cooked barbeque, state pride, the goofy bumper stickers, ( I've got my 38. and my wife is a woman, YOU keep the change) hahahahahaha!, the familiarity of knowing all about the state and the places I grew up, the oil fields, and mostly the majority of the nice, Southern people. I've got the ocean and the wonderful people of California for neighbors now......I have seen the best of both worlds. Life is good.

Nice journal to read this morning. We\'re still in the re-do of the kichen and it is progressing beautifully. Don is ready to return to California as we\'ve had more rain but a promise of sunshine today. Have a great California day.
