A Young man led to Christ

I wrote about this in the answered prayer site here on DS but, I felt I should write it here too.  A few months ago, there was a terrible wreck.  A young man was injured very badly.  His grand-dad is a deacon at my church and he immediately rushed to the local hospital.  The family were told he probably wouldn't live to make it to the hospital.  My church people started praying for this young man named Jeremy.  He did make it to the hospital and assessed his injuries.  They were too serious for this hospital so they air lifted him to St. Louis.  They told the family he probably would die enroute but, they had to try and make the trip.  Jeremy made the trip and was rushed into immediate surgery,  His intestines were punctured and torn, he had a broken neck, a broken back, a broken hand and arm, a broken hip, a broken leg, a serious head injury and concussion.  He was given 6 units of blood and a trach was placed in his throat.  He was placed in an induced coma for about 3 weeks and was in ICU.  Only immediate family could see him.
A few weeks ago, he was transferred to a local rehab center and I went to see him.  He had a big metal halo on, his arm was in a cast, as was his leg. He had a trach machine hooked up to help him breathe and he was semi-coherent.  I tried to talk to him but, he really wasn't aware much of what was going on around him.  I found out later that visitors upset him and made him restless, etc. so I refrained from visiting him and got updates from his grand-dad at church.  Wed. night, his grand-dad said he was much better and I asked if it would be ok if I could go visit him.  His grand-dad said yes and that he would appreciate it if i would.
Today I went to see Jeremy.  He was setting up in a wheelchair and the nurses were tending to him.  After they left, I again introduced myself to him and he said his grand-dad had called him and said I might be there to see him.  Jeremy and I talked for a while and I asked him about his background, if he had any church affiliation at all, etc.  He said he believed there was a God.
We continued to talk and I started telling him about how Jesus loved him.  I told him that Jesus had gave his life that Jeremy could have eternal life and have all his sins forgiven.  My wife left the room so me and Jeremy could talk one on one.  Jeremy began to get tears in his eyes and I asked him if he wanted to be saved and he said yes.  I took his hand and he prayed with me and asked Jesus to save him and cleanse him.  When we finished, tears were running down his face and he had to get a wash cloth off the bed to wipe his tears.  He said, "I knew I was supposed to do something but, I didn't know what to do or how to do it".  He said "I know have to go tell others and to help others, when I get out of here".  Jeremy and I were both crying.  What a wonderful experience this was.  I left and told Jeremy I'd be back to see him next week and he said he would like that.  As soon as I left the rehab center, I called his grand-dad and told him what had happened.  I was still crying and his grand-dad started crying.  Listen folks, don't ever give up on a son, daughter, relative or friend.  Prayer is the key and the word of God is very powerful.  Praise the Lord for Jeremy and I felt so priviledged to be able to lead this young man to Jesus.
