A Yellow Rose - A Day For Miracles
Hi, This morning I was rather sad... actually I've been a bit sad for a few days... April 22, 2006 is the day my mama crossed over... I miss her. I thought about writing and asking all my friends to plant yellow roses in memory of my mama, but decided that was too much so I didn't... Then this morning I opened my email and Karen had sent me a picture of a beautiful yellow rose in honor of friendship week. Karen you don't know how much that touched me... Yellow roses were my mama's favorite. My mama was like a yellow rose... her smile like sunshine and I assure you she truly is my best friend. Karen's rose set me off on a hunt to find a yellow rose just for my mama... Mama's Yellow Rose A Second Miracle I received a message from a friend on Daily Strength directing me to their site. I think its a truly special place to communicate with our loved ones and so I wanted to share it with you. This is a copy of their message with the website. My wife and I started a website to help cope with loss: http://www.icanpray.com It's more spiritual than religious. The PERPETUALS page is especially nice. Check it out and feel free to pass it on. Good luck! Much love! Coincidence... Godincidence.... I just feel like my mama sent me a gift... actually she sent me two gifts and I just wanted to share them. Hugs Elissa A second rose for Mama

I\'m sorry you are missing your Mama. I think that she surely did send you a big \"howdy do\" today with the yellow rose. There was a time, a day, when I got some bad news from a doctor, well, it turned out to be okay afterall but at the time he thought it was going to be bad and I had to have surgery to rule out the bad he was expecting...anyway, the worst part about getting the bad news for me was how I would tell my children and what it would do to them if I had to leave them. It was a beautiful late spring day and I stood outside in the sun when a breeze touched my face...and I suddenly thought that I would be that breeze touching my children, I would never leave them for I loved them for all eternity and nothing could separate us. And I think that\'s how it is with a Mama and her love, she can never leave you...and apparently she can still send roses. ((((love you))))
