a wonderful visit with Grandma, and Spirit soaring Spring time nature :) oh my! :) iced green tea cheers, to family, friends, and spirit of the season :) We're enjoying a nice day :) my mom, dad, and i went shopping today at the dollar store, and then went to visit with my lovely grandma :) We bought some nice gifts, goodies, and treasures for her :) She was very excited! :) She says, "Hello everyone, enjoy a nice weekend" :) awww! :) i gave my grandma a nice hug for everyone :) she loves her gifts :) we gave her some cards, flowers, candies, and some new movies :) She gave my mom some lovely gifts, and also gave my dad some nice gifts for his birthday, and surprised my dad! :) She made her famous, Spaghetti and Meatballs for my dad to bring home :) he's very happy! :) she's been making spaghetti and meatballs for my dad, since the 1970's :) awww! :) it's very special :) my grandma gave me some cookies :) She's very sweet :) We enjoyed a really nice visit :) my grandma had her table all set up with her spring tableclothe :) it was a wonderful time visiting :) i took some pictures to share :) my uncle Jack was there :) it's a nice day. :) when we arrived home, my dad and i checked our plants, and fruit trees :) i watered our planters and sprouts in our garden greenhouse :)We have cucumber sprouts! :) We'll be home tomorrow, on mother's day :) my mom may grill some hotdogs, and we want to do some yard and garden work :) i bought a nice basket, with lots of gifts, and goodies to give to my mom tomorrow :) She's gonna be very happy :) it's a beautiful saturday :) my grandma mentioned she's gonna watch a new movie tonight :) i said, "grandma, i'll watch a movie too" :) awww! :)

We love spring time weekends, especially this time of the year :) all week, we've been looking forward to visiting with my grandma, and bringing her some special gifts, for mother's day :) She also had a cool surprise for my dad, his favorite, spaghetti and meatballs :) my grandma is Italian, and she takes lots of great pride in making her famous, from scratch, homemade spaghetti sauce, and meatballs :) She was busy this week, making some for my dad, which she has made for him, since the 1970's :) my mom and i knew she was making the special meal, but my dad had no idea, and he was in for a cool surprise today :) It's a really nice saturday :)
this morning, we were getting ready throughout the morning, for our adventures :) my sister Jenn, Mikey, and baby Hunter came over :) i went out to see them :) little baby Hunter is growing, he's about 2 and half months old now :) he was smiling and smiling, as i waved to him :) awww! :) he's definitely gonna be a little baker in training, i know Mikey will want to teach his little brother all about baking in the kitchen with us someday :) it was a great morning :) i enjoyed some time here on ds, writing to friends :) Thank you angel friends, for all of your lovely comments, on our baking friday journal, and pictures :) We're very happy you all enjoyed our adventure :) the strawberry shortcake came out great :) We're cutting the cake, with the special mother's day weekend here :) Taylynn and Kayla went out today, to visit with Taylynn's meme and pepe, her dad's parents :) they love to have some visits from time to time :)
Shortly after 11am, my mom, dad, and i were all set, and ready to begin our adventures :) We first drove over to the shopping center, and went to the dollar store :) They have lots of great items :) i was excited to buy some happy mother's day cards, for my mom, grandma, sister's, and niece Alyssa :) We were browsing around the store, it wasn't that busy :) i felt confident, and focused, as i was shopping around :) i bought a nice basket, for my mom, and some of her favorite goodies, treats, and some nice gifts :) She's gonna be really happy when i give her the gifts tomorrow morning :) i bought my grandma, some nice fruit slice jellies candies, a card, and a nice planter with artificial flowers, for her to display on her table :) We shopped all around the store, i bought some pretzels to have for snack too :) we picked up some arts and crafts supplies for Taylynn :) it was really nice shopping at the dollar store :) We got some great items :) The checkout went smoothly, i felt really in the zone today, while shopping there :) it felt natural :) We put our stuff into our car, and we then began to make our journey to my grandma's :)
We enjoyed the nice scenic backroads route, to my grandma's house :) i was having some pretzels, and my iced green tea, and my mom, dad, and i were having a nice talk :) We saw the old place where the Montville, Movie rental place use too be, and my mom said, "Remember we use too get movies there" :) it was always such a fun tradition :) the place is now a daycare center, but we always think of the movies we use too get there in the 1980's when i was a kid :) We approached New London, ct, and arrived at my grandma's house :) She greeted us with a smile :) we had my grandma's gift bags, cards, gifts, goodies, and a nice balloon for her, for mother's day :) She was smiling, and gave us each a nice hug, and a kiss on our cheek :) Awww! :) We love seeing grandma :) She welcomed us into her kitchen :) she has her nice new spring tableclothe there, it looks so nice :) We were all gathered around, and sat down :)
my grandma bought a nice birthday cake for my dad, and also surprised him with the spaghetti sauce and meatballs to bring home :) my dad is very happy :) Awww! :) it's so nice, and sweet of my grandma, to make the nice meal for my dad :) she was cooking the other day :) my grandma is doing really well :) She told me to wish you all, a nice weekend :) awww! :) we gave my grandma her gifts, for mother's day :) she loves everything :) her cards, goodies, movies, lottery tickets, some money, and she has her flowers, on her table :) We ordered some flowers from my grandma, that were delivered to her yesterday :) it's a beautiful bouquet of flowers :) She's very happy :) She thanked us, and mentioned that she's going to watch one of her new movies tonight :) She loves her movies, she's a big fan of classic movies :)
my grandma gave my mom, some nice gifts, including candles, a potpouri candle set, and a lovely happy mother's day card :) my grandma gave me, a nice pack of sugar cookies :) She knows i love those cookies :) Awww! :) i thanked my grandma :) We were enjoying a really nice visit :) it was sunny outside, my grandma's kitchen was all lit, and glowing from the sunlight :) my grandma had some lovely daffodils that blossomed during the spring season, and we're so happy, we remember planting those daffodils bulbs for her last spring :) it was a pure joy visiting with my grandma today:) we wished her a happy mother's day :) She's going to be having some goodies, and a nice meal on mother's day tomorrow too :) my uncle Jack came home, from running, he loves to exercise :)it was great getting to see uncle Jack :) my grandma has 2 sons, uncle Jack and Mike, that live with her :) We thanked my grandma, for a wonderful visit, and told her we'll be visiting again very soon :) She gave us another nice hug, as we got ready to return home :) we waved to my grandma:) it was very special getting to visit with her today, and bringing her some nice gifts, goodies, and treasures :) We had a nice car ride home, we were amazed to see, all of the trees, all around, growing new leaves :) We saw some incredible nature sights, spring blossoming all around, during our adventures today :) We love these special spring time joys :) There's lots of great memories being made :)
We're enjoying a beautiful saturday :) my family and i are doing well :) when we got home today, my dad and i had a nature walk in our yard :) we were looking around at our plants, and fruit trees, some birds, bluejays, and red cardinals were flying around :) we're really pleased, with how well the plants and fruit trees are doing :) We've got some cucumber sprouts in our garden greenhouse :) We're very excited, to see some sprouts :) my sister Lisa got to come home early from work, after mid-afternoon :) She, my dad, and mom went shopping at walmart to pick up a few things :) they got a flowers planter for my sister Jenn, for mother's day :) i tended our plants this afternoon :) The weather is beautiful :) Tomorrow's mother's day :) We'll be home tomorrow. :) We're going to give my mom, Lisa, Jenn, and Alyssa cards, goodies, and gifts, and we're also going to spend some time in our yard and gardens :) i want to do some garden work in our front yard, and planting flowers seeds :) i want to get lots of morning glory flowers, and other flowers growing in our front yard this spring season :) i'll take lots more pictures to share with everyone :) this evening, i'm going to call our dear friend Stacy (Sunflower10) :) we're gonna have a good talk, catching up on things, and tonight, i'm going to treat myself to a movie night :) Angel friends, thank you all so very much, for all that you do for us :) We appreciate you all :) BIG GROUP WARM SUNSHINE HUG :) There's many more good times to look forward too, with family, friends, and nature :)
