a whole week

Y  know I haven't been on this in a week and my story is always the same regarding T-Man.  The upside is I believe he's still clean.  He may not like school but he loves sports and that is something he put on the back burner when he was using.  So I'm counting our blessings. Well, it looks like T may be failing English.  We (hubby and I) were out of the loop so we had no idea what he needed to do.   Since he has difficulty concentrating and trouble writing papers he used to have the school tutor and his parents help him.  Well, the drug usage seems to have altered his desire to even try.   At the school conference with T and his  English teacher he admitted to not reading the book he chose for the big Senior English assignment.  Not good.  I never saw him read so I was not surprised but I thought maybe....just maybe he was reading in school.  Well, the teacher gave him another chance and allowed him to pick a book he already read and do the project on that book.  Well, I asked him why he wasn't taking advantage of the break he was getting from his teacher and he told me that I have no idea what this project entails.  He said there is no way he can do it.  My husband then e-mails teacher asking for the details.  She did and gave him an extra week.  I don't see T trying to do it.  In fact, he is not home now and should be studying for his history final.  He has been gone since after school and it's almost 9PM.  I am so done.   Just found out that a fellow who we used to play soccer and volley ball with died suddenly from possibly a heart attack.  It's so sad.  His wife also played soccer with.  Their oldest son is a freshman in college, the second son is a junior in h.s., and the baby, a girl, is in 2nd grade.  She was in my preschool class for two years.  She's the sweetest little girl and was apple of her daddy's eye.  It breaks my heart.  I still can't believe it.  Their oldest found his dad..... So sad........  lovely family.
