a wet fall day

It's starting to get cold now.....we are into November and I thought we were going to have warm weather until Christmas, but the cool weather id here to stay. Hubby is leaving for deer camp tomorrow and I am looking forward to a quiet week to myself. I'm not sure I have the energy to do much on my own anymore. My great niece is having a birthday on sunday and the film group is showing "Tulip Fever" monday night.....which one do I chose as I don't know if I can do both anymore.

Maybe I have just accepted that this is probably the start of the slide....I am not eligable for trnasplant until I am off these stupid blood thinners which is not until Feb. I hope I can hang on that long. This is the first time I am actually thinking that I may not come out of this. I am at that point where I am contemplating on what I can do for my kids and husband. I'd like to write them each a letter, but I'm so scatter brained most of the time...

It is harder to be upbeat when the weather is bad and especially as the days get shorter. The loss of energy and inability to do things is a major problem and makes you wonder if life is worth living but I have 2 friends who had transplants. One, a liver and the other a kidney. The energy they got and the time with their families made it all worth it. Please do your best to stay healthy so you can get that transplant and a new lease on life. I think of you.

Thanks Mary Ann, it's hard to be upbeat sometimes. This has been such a long journey so far and it's been pretty stable up until this last year. I've been doing a lot more art and it helps get me out of my head.

You are one of the strongest people ever. You have held on when others would have given up. You are entitled to have low days like everyone else. Try to be good to yourself as much as possible and do what makes you happy. Don't think ahead except to believe that it WILL work out. Love to you always.
