A Week Away
Well, the trip is a week away. I'll be heading to Vickie's house next Friday morning. Then, Saturday morning she'll take me to DFW airport to catch my plane to California. Have started packing. There are a few things that I can pack now,,Photo and Photo program CDs, a light jacket, robe, shirts and stuff. Just finished with the luggage tags. Have to call the vet to set up Foxy's stay. I've written a note to my landlord telling him I'll be away from the house, how I'll set the timers, and a list of phone numbers in case he needs to get a hold of me. It seems crazy, but I'm planning to get up at 3AM next Friday. I figure that'll give me plenty of time to cleanup, have a bit of breakfast, do the final packing, get the laundry together, and load the car. The final thing I'll do is set the timers. Taking my photo program with the camera. Maybe, I can dowload some pictures while I'm in California so yall can see what I'm doing. Still scared of the flight. Don't know what I'm going to do about the smoking. My doctor's idea about getting some nicotine gum is out of the question. I'd have to buy a big package and that's more than carton of cigarettes. Maybe find something to suck on. It's getting close!

There is a new kind of cigarrette that just came on the market here. It\'s called Indian Spirit. It\'s suppose to be all natural tobaccoo with no additives. It\'s also suppose to reduce your craving for cigarrettes. They cost around $5 a pack.
Hope to see some photo of your trip to California, 2700 miles from my house. You are sounding quite organized, that will help with the anxiety. Have a good Labor Day weekend. Working?
Mike I know you have a lot on your mind right now. packing no smoking, flight. You need to relax you are going to do great.
Looking forward to your California pictures.
Have fun.

I\'m with Doreen (Anthe) - it\'ll be great adventure for you. I\'m really excited for you.
I used to \"smoke\" cinnimon sticks. that worked very well because they are about the size of a cig. and you get a good taste from them. Might look a little odd on the plane. I thought there was no smoking on a plane. that was the case the last time I flew about 5 yrs. ago.
blessings and have a great time.
Janeinva, That IS the problem. Not only is there no smoking on the plane(A 3 hour plus trip for me.), but you can\'t smoke once you enter the terminal. With the security regulations, that means arriving 2 hours before departure. Add at least 30 minutes getting out of the other airport, I\'ve got about 6 hours without a cigarette. Wonder how many calories are in livesavers. They could be a life saver.
Mike maybe you should take your bible. Get a comfortable seat at the airport. look up all of the scriptures that God said \"Fear Not\" repeat them and get your mind off of the cigarettes. Before you know it you may want to become a preacher again.
I am praying for you.
God Bless
