A turn for the better
Lately, Ive been feeling great. I got back from Illinois, managing to fly alone without freaking out. The two people I sat by were so sweet and they both were caring about me being a little nervous. When I got home, my dad and I had a great time hanging out the week my mom was still in Illinois, too. I had a little problem sleeping, but that was just because I missed my mom, and it was only for two days.
When my mom got back, we had a great week just hanging out. Ive started excersizing to get a flat tummy. (: This last weekend was really good, also. I got to see my birth Grandma, Grandpa, Great Grandma, Aunt, and Uncle at the beach. We rented a beach house, right on the coast. It was really fun, even though I didn't talk to them too much. I was too busy chasing after cute boys on the beach, though not too many paid attention to me. Teenage girl, much? It was really fun just... Getting out of my comfort zone to actually talk to boys. (: It was really sad leaving, but Ill be going to my grandparents' soon enough.
We got back on monday, and my mom told me we get to get a kitten the next day! We went to the local SPCA organization that day, and I fell in love with two kittens, but I could only get one. I had decided on one the morning we were going to the SPCA place, then when we told the volunteer who we were talking to, and the person in front of us had actually just adopted her! I was a little disappointed, but I knew it must have been a sign that I should get the other one. So we did, and he's just perfect. He's 2 and a half months old, and he's just the sweetest thing you could ever get. I named him Giles Adagio, Giles from my favorite tv show, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, and Adagio, because in musical terms it means soft and relaxed, which is exactly what he is. I absolutely love him.
Also, I got a summer job! Im teaching swim lessons down at my condo pool. It's not exactly the most fun job, especially because the kid is kinda bratty, but I still love the job. Its not very well paid, but hey, it's money in my pocket, right?
Right now, life's great. I havent been cutting for quite the long time, Ive been eating without puking, and now I have a kitty. Everything's just... going my way right now. (:
