a trip to Malerba's Farm, and a wonderful visit with Grandma :)

Happy saturday! :) GIFT SHOPPING AT MALERBA'S FARM! and WONDERFUL VISIT WITH MY GRANDMA! :) We're enjoying a nice day. :) my dad and i went shopping at malerba's farm this morning. :) oh my! :) the greenhouses at malerba's farm are loaded!!! with lots of plants, flowers, wow! wow! wow! :) We enjoyed browsing around, and went to the tomato planters greenhouse. :) We selected 2 awesome tomato plants, in planters, for my dear, and lovely mom and grandma, for mother's day. :) The plants are HUGE!!! :) We surprised my mom with the tomato plant, and this afternoon we enjoyed a wonderful visit with my grandma. :) We surprised her with a tomato plant, a cake, movie, and other gifts too, for mother's day. :) awww! :) my mom and grandma LOVE their tomato plants! :) my dad and i put my grandma's tomato plant, planter on her shepherds pole near her patio garden. :) We also brought her a huge gallon jug, with miracle gro to tend the plant. : )She's so thrilled! :) awww! :) i created a happy mother's day card for my grandma. :) She was so happy! :) She put her cards on her living room table. :)We enjoyed a really sweet visit with my grandma. :) on the way home, my mom, dad, and i got some nice treats at mcdonalds. :)We're gearing up for mother's day tomorrow. :) i'm creating cards, and i got some domino's gift cards for my mom, Lisa, and Alyssa. :) it's their favorite place to order food from. :) This morning, Kayla had a incident in our living room, she fell, and broke one of her toes on her right foot. She is ok, and resting. they said she should be fully healed by June 5th. god bless her heart. She's in good spirits, and watching movies today on the couch. :) We wish everyone a very happy mother's day holiday tomorrow. :) We're gonna be home tomorrow, doing some gardening, spending time together, and my dad and i may go garden shopping at home depot, and walmart. :) we're gonna have mother's day cake tomorrow. :)
my family and i hope everyone is enjoying a beautiful saturday. :) We're thinking of you all, our dear friends, and are with eachother in spirit. :) We love spring time weekends. :) The month of may is really in full swing, and tomorrow is Mother's Day. :) We've been planning a very special visit, with my grandma. :) We had a wonderful time visiting with her today, and brought her some very special gifts, including a totmato plant! :) my grandma loved her tomato plant we gave her last year, for mother's day. :) my mom had same kind of plant, it's a plant in a planter, that has many tomato plant grows on it, it's almost like a malerba's farm original hybrid tomato plant. :)it's absolutely incredible to see how many grows these plants have. :) my dad mentioned he was going over to malerba's farm around mid-day today to buy some plants. :) i said, "i'm coming with you!" :) awww! :) we love malerba's farm, and since they have opened up back in march, we've been looking forward to going there. :)
my dad and i drove over to malerba's farm. :) it was raining really hard outside, but it was still very busy, and active at malerba's farm. :) Lots of people out and about, buying plants, and flowers. :) my dad and i parked our jeep, and walked over to the main area of malerba's farm, and walked into one of the greenhouses. :) it's absolutely sweet gardening heaven! :) WOW! :) being amongst all of these plants, in the greenhouse, it makes my gardening spirit blossom! :) we were browsing around, we looked way out back into the other greenhouses, we saw lots of people shopping, buying plants. :) my dad and i walked over to the tomato greenhouse, they have lots of flats of tomatoes, plus they have the hanging basket planters. :) 2 huge rows, of tomato plants. :) it was so nice to see. :) i love the scent of tomato plants, it puts me right into the gardening spirit. :)
We were looking at all of the plants, we selected 2 plants. :) one for my mom, and one for my grandma. :) The planters were $14 each. :) That's a really good deal, as the plants last all spring and summer. :) my dad and i went to the checkout. :) We checked out, and then put the 2 planters in the back of our jeep. :) the 2 plants took up our whole back seat! :) hehe! :) huge plants! :) when we arrived home, we gave one of the plants to my mom. :) she was so happy! :) awww! :) lots of cheerful joy. :) We were gearing up to travel to my grandma's house in New London, Connecticut. :) We got all of her gifts set, and put the tomato plant in the back of our mini van. :) we were gonna surprise my grandma! :) this morning, i created a nice happy mother's day card, for my grandma, and i also got a daily number lottery ticket, number 512 (May 12th date), and my mom got the number 807 for my grandma. :) she loves her daily numbers. :)
my mom, dad, and i then began our journey to my grandma's house. :) We took the turnpike route. :) We were very excited about surprising my grandma with the special gifts. :) we arrived in New London, CT, about 15 minutes, and we arrived at grandma's house. :) She greeted us with a smile, and we wished her a happy mother's day. : )Awww! :) my grandma was thrilled to see her tomato plant. :) She said, "that's a huge plant! bigger than last year's!" :) awww! :) this was awesome! :)my dad and i put the tomato plant on my grandma's shepherd's pole near her patio garden. :) my dad brought a huge gallon jug, and a box of miracle gro plant food. :) We mentioned to my grandma, that she can put 1 scoopful (tablespoon) of miracle gro food, in 1 gallon of water to make the plant food to water/feed the tomato plant. :) my grandma's very happy. :)
We gathered in my grandma's kitchen, and were enjoying a nice talk, and visit. :) We gave my grandma her happy mother's day cards, $20, lottery numbers, and we also gave her, 6 blueberry muffins, a mini happy mother's day cake, and we also gave her, a new movie, one of her favorite movies she really wanted, and we also gave her a new nightgown. :) She's so happy and excited! :) We love seeing grandma smile. :) we were enjoying a really nice visit. :) i showed my grandma some of my new nature pictures, and also picture of the happy mother's day cake we baked yesterday. :) She loves seeing the pictures. :) We visited with my grandma for a nice hour. :) it was really nice to visit with her. :)
my grandma put her nice happy mother's day cards on her living room table. :) i took a picture of her table, and i also took a picture of her tomato plant. :) my grandma gave us a nice hug, and a kiss on our cheeks, and thanked us. :) awww! :) my grandma's doing really well, and says hello to everyone, and wishes everyone a happy mother's day. :) my grandma is going to be visiting with her other daughter, my aunt Vicky, and family tomorrow, and having lunch at their home. :) we had a really nice time visiting with grandma today, and we waved to her. :) on the way home, we took the backroads route, and got some treats at mcdonalds, lunch. :) my dad got a mcdouble burger, and my mom and i got chicken sandwiches. :) This afternoon, my brother Bobby, his girlfriend Stacy, and their baby, Ryan, came over to visit for a little while. :) the rain let up, and the kids are outside. :)
This morning, there was a scary incident in our living room. our dog Bailey was laying in front of the kitchen doorway, and Kayla was trying to step over Bailey, and Bailey got up, and Kayla fell forward, she hurt her toes. my sister Lisa took Kayla to Backus, Hospital here in our city, for x-rays. Kayla has a broken toe. god bless her heart. they wrapped her toe up, and she has to rest a lot. they said, she should be fully healed, by June 5th. Kayla has very brittle bones, back when she was 3 years old, she jumped off the bench of the picnic table and fractured her foot, and a few years ago, she fell off her bike and fractured her hand. She is in good spirits, and is dedicated to healing. She's been laying down on the couch a lot today, and watching scooby doo movies on her portable dvd player, and went outside this afternoon to sit down under our front tree. :) Get well very soon Kayla! :)
my family and i thank you all so very much, for all of your beautiful comments on our baking friday journal, and pictures. :) We're so very happy, and delighted, that everyone enjoyed our baking friday adventure, and pictures. :) That warms our hearts, and makes us smile. :) We're gonna have some cake tomorrow. :) We'll be home for mother's day. :) we're hoping for some nice weather. :) i want to plant some sunflower seeds, and flowers in my favorite gardening area. :) my dad and i may go to home depot, and walmart to browse around at the garden supplies, and plants there. :) maybe we could cook a few hotdogs on the grill tomorrow, if the weather's nice. :) my mom said, she wants to enjoy lots of rest, and relaxation tomorrow, for mother's day. :) i got my mom, Lisa, and Alyssa, each a $10 gift card, to Domino's pizza. :) it's their favorite place to order food from. :) since my dad and Lisa work at domino's, we get 50% off all food there, so my mom, Lisa, and Alyssa will be able to order about $20 worth of food, which is a really nice meal, dinner, snack time. :)
We're enjoying a nice day today. :) it was wonderful visiting with grandma, and also going shopping at malerba's farm. :) during memorial day weekend, my dad and i are gonna go shopping at malerba's farm again, to stock up on some plants for our garden. :) our big gardening weekend is coming up in 2 weeks. :) We're really looking forward to it. :) Today, i opened a nice envelope, and treasures package. :) my family and i recieved wonderful gifts, and treasures. :) in my journal tomorrow, i'm going to share about these very special treasures. :) The spirit of spring season is in the air. :) There's lots of great things going on, and many special memories being made. :) We feel your loving prescence with us. :) We appreciate everything you all do for us. :) You all are very special friends. :) We thank you all so very much, for the amazing love, joy, happiness, peace, and sunshine you bring to our hearts, days, and our lives. :) BIG GROUP HUG :) tonight, i'm going to call our dear friend Holly. :) We're going to watch some videos on youtube. :) my sister Lisa got some nice international delight coffee, with vanilla creamer. :) We made an iced coffee, it's rocking and rolling, sweet delicious! :) oh my! :) i thanked Lisa for making me a nice iced coffee. :) Tomorrow's mother's day. :) We'll be thinking of you all, and i'm going to write a special mother's day journal tomorrow, with pictures of the day. :) We love you all so very very much, our dear friends. :) There's many more joyful times to look forward too. :) We hope everyone is enjoying a peaceful saturday :)

My New Halloween Tree! :) my niece Alyssa, knows a lady that sells avon, and she brought over some catalogs. :) earlier this week, my mom, Lisa, and Kayla were looing at the catalogs, and i said, "hey, is that halloween stuff!" :) they said, yes! :) awww! :) i saw this very neat, and super cool, Halloween Tree! :) everyone knows, i absolutely love halloween, and i decorate a huge halloween town in mid-september, and celebrate halloween all of October. :) i really love the tree i saw in the catalog, and i just had to buy it! :) i used $18 of my birthday money. :) i'm so very happy and excited! :) We got our avon order today. :) this is a picture of my new halloween tree. :) it has purple/black glitter base for the tree, with multi-colored lights, pumpkins, and black cats decoratives. :) very cool! :) This halloween tree, will be going next to my other 2 halloween trees, in my halloween town in October. :) i am so thrilled to have this new addition to my collection, that continues to grow and grow. :) halloween time is still a ways away, but i've got my new tree on my collectibles shelf here, and will look forward to displaying it in October. :) i love my new halloween tree :)
