A Thank You
As some of you know, I try to take care of my next door neighbor's dogs that are chained to the fence. I try to untangle their chains and keep them in water. The water part can be hard at times when their bowls are too far away from the fence or knocked over. The people don't check on them enough to notice. When the bowls are too far away from the fence, I use an flower watering can and they drink it like kids getting a drink from a hose. This morning as I was doing it I hear, "Thank You". It was from my neighbor on the other side of the house. I told her I did it because it seemed their owners didn't care. She said she had been seeing me do it for a while and appreciated what I was doing. I told her I just couldn't see the dogs go without water. I know she's like to do it, but they don't chain the dogs on her side of the yard. It's funny. I didn't think anybody noticed. It was nice to hear somebody appreciated what I was doing.

I loved reading this post and am so very glad someone noticed the good you do. We need that positive affirmation when we are coping with such overwhelming challenges in life.
I\'m smiling for you :-)

Doing the right thing, is good even if NO ONE notices. I\'m sure the noticing felt good, just as I\'m sure you didn\'t do it to GET noticed. I believe that the following phrase also applies to animals...
\"...unto the least of one of these...\" I\'m sure the Lord notices.
you are one great guy to help take care of the dogs and how much they appreciate it there needs to be more people like you...
